‘The Vanished” is based on the novel “The Unknown Wife’ an award winning Swedish novel by Leif Davidsen. The novel went straight to the best-seller list across Scandinavian when it was first published outselling both 'Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ and ‘Twilight.’

An Action-Thriller in the vein of the Bourne Identity, Marcus Hoffmann is the owner of one of UK’s most successful Commodity Hedge Funds. He’s recently married to the magnetic Russian-born Tamara who manages a high end art gallery in Mayfair. One day, she informs Marcus she needs to visit Moscow for work. He suggests he go along and they make a vacation out of it by taking a riverboat cruise up the Volga River to see and experience the real Russia, which he knows little of.

But their romantic holiday turns into nightmare when they dock at a small, river-port town and Tamara disappears from the cruise ship without a trace. Marcus leaves the cruise immediately to find his wife, and in doing so, slowly puts together the story of who his wife really is as he descends into the underbelly of crime and geo-political intrigues.
